What's Included In This Workshop ...

The foundation is the most critical step in developing PREDICTABLE long lasting results. Suturing & passive flap closure is an integral part of that process. These workshops are to develop the surgical skillset and build the psychological confidence that you can rely on. This 2-day workshop covers:

Basic anatomy of the suture.

Advanced suturing techniques (horizontal mattress, sling and compression sutures etc...).

Atraumatic extraction technics.

Ridge preservation & augmentation with contour grafting technics.

Material selection (bone graft, membranes & biologics).

Flap design and appropriate suture selection (resorbable and non-resorbable)

Management of soft tissue around teeth and dental implants at time of bone grafting (soft tissue grafting concomitantly with max bone grafting for management of the papilla).

CPF, VIPCTG all will be taught and performed.

You’ll finish this course with a deep appreciation for foundational support for long term success and a plan to make it a reality in your practice.

Dr. Omid Kiarash

Periodontist

Dr. Kiarash is the Immediate Past President of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology. He is also the former Director of the Department of Periodontics, Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University. Dr. Kiarash has received the prestigious American Academy of Periodontology Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is also the founder of the "Zeeba Education". Dr. Kiarash is a board certified specialist.

Dr.Kiarash has presented at many national and international conferences. He regularly teaches live hands-on courses to other dentists on the use of more advanced surgical techniques and protocols for the management of advanced periodontal conditions as well as the surgical placement of dental implants.

Dr. Kiarash is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is the past Chairman for the Predoctoral Directors Organization of the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Sara Behmanesh

Periodontist

Dr. Behmanesh received her certificate in Periodontology and a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2011. She joined McGill University in 2014 as a clinical instructor, faculty lecturer and course director in the Department of Periodontics. Dr. Behmanesh has received the prestigious American Academy of Periodontology Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Dr. Behmanesh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the International Team of Implantology. Dr. Behmanesh has a passion for teaching and is involved in hands-on Continuing Dental Education courses teaching advanced surgical techniques.
