INTRODUCING
2-day Didactic & Hands-On Workshop
This program has been designed to present the importance of proper assessment and planning of cases requiring implant-supported restorations. Treatment of the anterior area will be discussed in order to better understand the criteria necessary to obtain a predictable aesthetic outcome.
The different prosthetic choices will be discussed in order to demystify the advantages of each and to facilitate the appropriate selection according to clinical indication.
The design and fabrication of implant supported provisional crowns in the aesthetic zone will also be discussed and demonstrated in order to showcase the importance of this tool for the maintenance and preparation of the peri-implant tissue before the fabrication of the final restoration.
In the last 20 years, implants have slowly become one of the most common treatment modalities to replace missing or unrestorable teeth.
Although most studies show that they present good long term survival rates, it is imperative to look into the most common complications with implant dentistry. This presentation will discuss the biological, mechanical, functional and aesthetic complications. It will also showcase some precautions to take in order to minimize these complications in the future.
Additionally, a review of proper planning and prosthetic abutment selection will be discussed in order to minimize the possible future complications
